Founded in 1995 | Halfmoon Bay BC, Canada
The Centre is run by qualified Teachers, Healers and Counsellors, living and working together as a spiritual family with the guidance of Mata Yogananda Mahasaya Dharma’s experience, love and wisdom. The Centre was originally founded in Gibsons in 1995 with the blessing of Mata Yogananda, the Spiritual Head and Patron of the Self Realization Sevalight Centres for Pure Meditation, Healing & Counselling worldwide. The purpose of the Centres is to serve people of all races, backgrounds, beliefs, and in all levels of need.
The focus is on providing teaching, nurturing, the clearing of emotions and balancing of mind, body and spirit for all who are seeking peace, harmony, health and progress. The Self Realization Sevalight Centre in Halfmoon Bay Canada is one of the non-profit Centres / Charities around the world. Andrew
Teacher, Healer & Counsellor, Co-Director
Andrew Fentiman studied and practiced as an Architect for 26 years in the UK. He has travelled extensively, helping him to appreciate and understand many cultures. He started on his Spiritual path in 1997 with a Theravada Buddhist practice, before taking Pure Meditation in 2006 and coming to meet Mata Yogananda, his Guru.
Andrew moved to the Sunshine Coast, BC in 2008 where he is a Co-Director of the Not-for-profit Centre as well as a Teacher, Healer & Counsellor. His Architectural experience has helped in the vision of weaving together the buildings and outside spaces of gardens and forest, to create this unique Retreat Centre.
He is an active Toastmaster in the community, supporting those who want to learn speaking and leadership skills. He enjoys speaking and writing on spiritual subjects. As part of a larger global network of Lightworkers and Healing professionals, he shares in the administration of the Self Realization Sevalight Associates Worldwide Society.
Andrew is passionate about helping all who want to develop their spirit and learn to know themselves in a deeper way.
Kathseva
Teacher, Healer & Counsellor, Co-Director
Kathseva Fentiman is a Teacher, Counsellor and Healer at the Self Realization Sevalight Centre, where she has been Co-Director since 2006. With a deep desire to help people lead more fulfilling lives, she studied Recreation and Health Education at the University of Victoria. After University, she spent 2 years travelling in Nepal, South East Asia and Australasia. Kathseva began her career as a Community Development and Recreation planner for the local governments’ Recreation Division and coordinated physical activity initiatives for elementary schools.
Kathseva has a love of the outdoors, with interests in yoga, nutrition and plant based cooking. She can often be found hiking through the local trails or swimming in the ocean or many lakes on the Coast.
She began her spiritual and professional training in 1998, under the guidance of Mata Yogananda Mahasaya Dharma, a Self/God Realized Master, in the pursuit of understanding herself and others more. It is the Unconditional Love and help of her Guru that inspired Kathseva to devote her life to helping others.
Kathseva is committed to a life of service and spiritual development and aims to help others to connect to their inner wisdom.
