Guided Retreats

Scheduled Retreats at the Centre in Halfmoon Bay, BC

Our scheduled guided retreats have more structure and less silent time than Silent Retreats. As well as sharing meals together, there are opportunities to join in group classes and a spiritual talk & discussion, within a quiet environment. We offer a number of guided retreats throughout the year. Whether you are in need of some space to think and reflect or are looking to nurture yourself in a spiritual and peaceful environment, we lovingly welcome you to be our guest.

During your guided retreat

There will be scheduled times to meditate together as a group, as well as time to meditate when you feel the need. There is also silent time for yourself ~ for contemplation, journaling, reading spiritual books, yoga and/or walks to the ocean and through forest trails.

We highly recommend that you have a meditation practice to receive the most from your retreat. If you feel you would like to learn, Pure Meditative Peace can be taught ahead of the retreat.

Guided retreats are open to newcomers as well as experienced meditators. We offer a number of scheduled retreats throughout the year:

Step into the Silence Retreat ~

An opportunity to bring or learn a meditation technique (if you do not have one) and put it into practice in a supportive, peaceful environment. Participate in a Sevalight Hatha Yoga Class and a group spiritual discussion. For those who want to step in slowly, rather than dive in. A great way to test out the Silence for yourself, before coming on a Silent Retreat.

New Year Gathering ~

A wonderful way to welcome in the New Year in a positive light with time for contemplation, rest and relaxation. Retreat includes two full days, finishing on New Year’s Day. Sharing together in a spiritual way, bringing in the New Year with meditation, Yoga, forest walks, meals together, and a fireside spiritual discussion and reflections on the year past and ahead.

Energy Care & Wellbeing Retreat ~

Make time to nurture your Self and take time out of your busy life to recharge and renew your energy. The spiritual and peaceful weekend at the Centre includes a 2.5 hour introductory class on Energy Care & Wellbeing – providing practical ways and tools for balanced living, a Pure Spiritual Healing treatment, plus silent time to refresh you on every level.
