Sevalight Yoga has its roots in Hatha Yoga and is a holistic form of yoga which helps to stimulate the body’s own natural healing energy. Focus is on moving in a mindful way to enhance body awareness, release tension, cultivate balance, enhance flexibility and develop strength. As no two bodies are the same, a variety of movement options will be presented for students to choose from.

At our Yoga classes and workshops, students will learn techniques and tools for better energy management which translate very well for use in daily life. Posture, alignment, and breath work are key components with each class finishing with time for relaxation and integration. We hold yoga classes throughout the year at our Centre in Halfmoon Bay, in small groups with individualized attention.
HATHA YOGA OFFERINGS
Yoga Classes & Workshops
The Centre offers Sevalight Hatha Yoga which is for all ages, conditions and abilities (beginner to advanced). Reduce stress, learn to relax, improve self-awareness, and learn a gentle yet powerfully effective way to get fit on all levels of your being. Each class ends with a relaxation to help assimilate the many benefits that the practice of this beautiful yoga brings.
Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy focuses on assisting individuals to improve mental and physical health through movement, breathing practices, and visualization and relaxation techniques. These sessions are conducted 1 to 1 or in small groups with people with similar conditions and empower individuals to take charge of their health and move into greater health and wellbeing.
Yoga on Retreat
On some of our Scheduled Retreats, we offer yoga classes and a private yoga session / yoga therapy can be part of your own personal retreat. The Centre offers peaceful spaces for personal yoga practice ~ mats, bolsters and blocks are available.
